Tree ServiceLike everything, there is a right and wrong way to perform tree services. Our employees are trained in accordance to ANSI (American National Standards Institute) standards to perform tree service needs such as: deadwooding, corrective pruning, crown thinning, crown raising, crown cleaning and removals to ensure the health and protection of trees. We employ ISA (International Society of Arboriculture) Certified Arborists, experienced climbers, and experienced groundsmen who are trained to provide the most professional and quality tree care as possible. We are equipped with the most up to date equipment and knowledgeable employees to make your tree pruning or removals a safe and pleasant experience. Our crews hold weekly safety meetings to ensure the quality, production and to minimize the amount of injuries that are possible on every jobsite. And these are just a few of the things that are required by the TCIA (Tree Care Industry Association) for Accredited Tree Service Companies such as us. There are only 5 companies in the state of Missouri to have this credential. For more information, please visit www.tcia.org. When it comes to having a tree removed, you have many options to consider. When removing a tree, you may choose from hauling or not hauling of debris and wood or to keep the wood and have it cut into 18"-24" lengths. After the tree is removed a stump is left normally at ground level. The stump can be ground out if you would like. Grinding the stump out leaves wood chips from the stump. Allen's Tree Service can leave the chips for you to dispose of, haul the chips to ground level or completely remove the chips and fill with topsoil. Allen's Tree Service also recycles 100% of our green and wood waste materials to reduce the amount of debris in landfills. We produce mulch, firewood, and organic compost (no human waste). Did you know that tree service is the most dangerous occupation in the United States with over 118 deaths per 100,000? Education, insurance and experience are the most important qualifications a tree service company can possess. Hiring a company without these rare qualifications could put you, your home, automobile, lawn, landscape and pocketbook at great risks. Most homeowners are unaware of the great risks of hiring a tree service company without general liability and worker's compensation. A company possessing general liability covers objects or structure on your property if they become damaged for any reason. Worker's compensation covers any one employee working for the company you hired if any injuries may happen to them. If the company you hire does not possess worker's compensation then you are at risk, you would be responsible for any injuries that could happen on your property. Homeowners insurance does not cover nor protect you from injuries to hired help. We recommend that you obtain a copy of an Accord Certificate of General Liability & Worker's Compensation. You may also want to challenge the insurance by contacting the insurance company to make sure that the insurance is paid and up to date with the correct coverage's for tree service. |
